I’ve been buying my tech books at bookpool.com for probably about 10 years now. It was a big let down to see that they’ve recently gone under. More disappointing was the fact that there was no notice to customers. After years of loyal shopping it would have been nice to receive some notice that they would be ceasing operations. I admit that in recent years, my loyalty has split and Barnes and Noble has been receiving an increasing share of my tech-book dollars. But that was largely due to the fact that Bookpool often had in-stock issues. Anyway, Bookpool is a loss for those of us who still prefer to read our tech books offline.
